This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Freightly LLC ("Freightly", "we" or "us") collects, uses, shares and deletes personal data when you use the Freightly mobile application and website ("Licensed Application").
By creating an account or using the Licensed Application you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Licensed Application.
Effective 16 October 2026.
1. What we collect
- Account details: Your name, your email address and, if you choose to give it, your company name. If you sign up with a password we store it hashed, never in plain text. If you sign in with Apple or Google we store the identifier that provider gives us instead of a password. For Sign in with Apple we also hold an encrypted token whose only use is to tell Apple when you delete your account.
- Shipment details: The master bill of lading, booking, container or air waybill numbers you enter, plus anything you add to them: a nickname, your own reference, and the free time days and start date you type in for the free-time countdown. We do not collect shipper, consignee or cargo details.
- Notification settings: Which alerts you have switched on, and a push token for each device you have installed the Licensed Application on, so we can deliver them.
- Subscription records: Which plan you hold, when it renews, and any extra searches you have bought. We never receive your card or payment details; see Section 4.
- Support messages: Whatever you send us when you contact support.
2. What we do not collect
- Your location: The Licensed Application never asks for location permission. The map shows the route of your shipment, not where you are.
- Your documents: The scanner reads shipment numbers off a photo using text recognition that runs entirely on your device. The photo is never uploaded and is discarded once you pick a number.
- Analytics or advertising data: The Licensed Application contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising software. We do not track you across other apps or websites and we do not build profiles.
3. How we use it
- To create your account, confirm your email address and sign you in.
- To register your shipment numbers with our freight-data provider and show you what it returns.
- To send the alerts you have asked for, by email and by push notification. Email is used for confirmation codes, password resets and shipment alerts only. We do not send marketing email.
- To apply the search allowance of your plan and record extra searches you buy.
- To answer support requests.
4. Who else sees your data
- ShipsGo: ShipsGo Dijital Lojistik A.Ş. (Turkey) is our freight-data provider. Every shipment number you enter is sent to ShipsGo, and every milestone, vessel, arrival estimate and route shown in the Licensed Application comes back from them. We show nothing about a shipment that ShipsGo has not returned.
- RevenueCat: RevenueCat, Inc. (United States) processes subscription data. It receives an anonymous account identifier and the purchase receipt from Apple or Google, and tells us which plan you hold and whether it is active.
- Apple and Google: All payments are made through in-app billing on the App Store or Google Play. Apple Inc. or Google LLC sees the transaction and bills you under its own terms. We receive confirmation of the purchase, never your payment details.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: A Google service that delivers push notifications to your device.
- Google Maps: Draws the route map on your device. Google receives the map requests the Licensed Application makes.
- Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In: If you use them, confirm your identity to us.
- Email delivery provider: Sends the confirmation codes and alerts we email you.
- No sale: We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
5. Where it is stored
Your data is stored on servers in [COUNTRY]. The providers in Section 4 process data in ting the United States and Turkey. By using the Licensed Application you agree to your data being handled in these places.
6. How long we keep it
- Account data: For as long as your account is open.
- Tracking data: For as long as the shipment is on your list.
- After deletion: See Section 7.
7. Deleting your account
- By you: You may delete your account at any time from the Licensed Application, under Profile, then Settings. Deletion takes effect immediately.
- What is erased: Your name, email address, password and sign-in identifiers are permce and session is signed out and all push tokens are removed. If you signed in with Apple, we tell Apple to revoke the sign-in.
- What is kept: Shipment numbers and billing records are kept without any link to youreconcile what our freight-data provider and the stores bill us for. A shipment number onits own does not identify you.
- Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in yount subscription settings as well, or the store will keep billing you.
