Freightly

Terms of service

Last updated 11 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the Freightly mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Freightly ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

1. The Service

Freightly lets you follow ocean containers and air cargo by entering carrier references such as container numbers, bills of lading, booking numbers and air waybill numbers. Tracking information comes from container lines, airlines and freight-data providers. We display it as received and cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness.

2. Your account

3. Searches and subscriptions

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to break the law, to track shipments you have no legitimate interest in, to scrape or resell tracking data, to interfere with the Service or its providers, or to attempt to access other users' data.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and content, belongs to Freightly or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices. Carrier data remains the property of the respective carriers and data providers.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". Shipping information can be delayed, incomplete or wrong at the source. Do not rely on Freightly alone for decisions with legal, customs or financial consequences. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Freightly is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from inaccurate or delayed tracking data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Sections 5 to 9 survive termination.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Freightly is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
